Kissa Bar, Reimagined
SuperBar draws its inspiration from the Japanese Kissa Bars — places where music is far more than background noise. Born in 1920s Japan, this concept brought jazz lovers together in “ongaku kissa” — intimate listening cafés where rare records were played in warm, quiet settings. In that same spirit, SuperBar offers a live music bar in Nice shaped by this philosophy of attentive listening. No compressed sound here — only carefully selected vinyl, played as it was meant to be heard, drawing you into each track with full immersion.
The spirit of the Kissa Bar lives on here, reimagined through a musical selection that leans into jazz, funk, soul, and groove — all played through an acoustic setup designed so each note becomes a journey through time.
